OREM — What looked like a family-friendly edited-movie rental store in Orem may actually have been the front for a pornography production studio and distribution center.

During a search Thursday night of the former Flix Club at 908 S. State, police found computers, cameras connected to a television, a large quantity of pornographic videos — some with as many as 20 copies — a keg of beer, alcohol and Lortab pills, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed in 4th District Court.

District Man Arrested On Child Porn Charges|ABC 7 News

Richard Harding, a 46-year-old lobbyist, was discovered in an Internet crime sting. Sources say Harding began Internet conversations with someone he thought was an adult pedophile, but it was really an undercover officer. Those sources say Harding exposed himself to the officer via a Web cam before sending graphic images and videos of young boys, even infants, being sexually abused.

“I am shaking, now, I’ve got two kids teenage boys. I am really disturbed,” said Lisa Carr, a neighbor.

Nearby residents, like the Bromwells, couldn’t believe the accusations against their neighbor.
